CHRISTOPHER JOHN EDWARD LEE
October 16, 1947 - April 1, 2019
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 48 years, Susan (Nosworthy); his two daughters, Sandra Craig and Barbara Plett and son-in-law Nathan Plett; his grandchildren, Alana Plett, Owen Plett, and Andrew Craig. Chris is survived by his sisters, Margaret Porter and Barbara Hicks (Brian Okell); his sister-in-law Shirley Lee; and brothers-in-law, Ron Chase, Reg Nosworthy, Brian (Diane) Nosworthy, as well as his nieces and nephews.
Chris was predeceased by his sister Joan Chase, brother David Lee, and his parents, Clayton and Joan Lee.
Following Churchill High School in Winnipeg, Chris joined the RCMP in 1968. Chris served in detachments throughout Alberta and retired in 1997 as Inspector of the Steinbach Subdivision. Chris and Susan moved to Qualicum Beach, BC and began "part two" of their journey together. Chris started his own computer support and web design business until he retired at the age of 65. His dreams of owning his own boat were fulfilled and he enjoyed many peaceful hours on the Pacific Ocean with friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2:00 p.m., at St. Stephen's United Church, 150 Village Way, Qualicum Beach.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Palliative Care Unit at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
