It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Kowbel on Monday, April 8, 2019, at Victoria Hospital, at the age of 87 years.
Remaining to mourn Helen's passing are her daughter Debbie; sister Doris; and nephews, Jason and Larry. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph.
For a number of years, Helen worked in a sewing factory and later as a waitress in the food and beverage industry. Her favourite hobbies were making floral arrangements, sewing and cooking.
Helen's funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue.
