  • We were so very saddened and shocked to learn of Neil's passing. With his cheerful manner and friendly disposition, he was always a pleasure to talk to. We will miss our visits in the yard, seeing him on Halloween with his grandson and bumping into the two of them at the zoo. We feel fortunate to have known Neil. The world was a better place with him in it. We are truly so sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathy goes out to you Gail and the whole family. - Posted by: Gail Fisher & Jack Stobart (Neighbor and friend) on: Apr 24, 2019

  • What can we say - tragic - too young - too vital - too loved. Gayle our thoughts are with you and your family. Carol and Brian Polonski - Posted by: Polonski's (Friends) on: Apr 22, 2019

  • I can't believe he's gone..Neil and I were best buddies in our late teen first job was at Solo grocery store on Carter Ave. and Neil was already working there and he looked after me like an older brother...he always watched over me and when I made grocery mistakes, like not moving older fruit to the front of the shelf, he told me about that and helped me correct those flubs..we used to shoot pool together at Miami Billiards and then later he got me a job at Eaton's catalogue....we both moved on from Eatons and I moved out east to Toronto but we always stayed in touch over the years..he did really well, with wife, family and job, and I guess I was hoping that maybe in our retirement years we could hook up again..he was one solid guy...the last time we met we talked about our lives and the great fun we had in our teen in peace were one special guy who always watched over me...I will miss your dearly... - Posted by: Nick Pron (buddies) on: Apr 22, 2019

  • I’ve known Neil since 1989, we worked together in many different capacities...... first he was my employer’s Accountant, then he handled my husband's business audit, then finding me numerous bookkeeping jobs for his small business clients. It was always a memorable time for me whenever we worked together. Great sense of humour, very genuine guy. My sincere condolences to his family. Robin - Posted by: Robin (Business) on: Apr 21, 2019

  • The day mom brought him home from the hospital I knew he was special. My younger brother Neil. Whenever I think of Neil I smile, we had so much fun growing up, he made me laugh, the world seemed bright and full of magic and fun when he was around. Later, he was to me like a "big brother" so wise, so happy and great advice. Neil was so good to people wherever he went and loved to bring everyone together and be happy. I admired and respected him and he will stay in my heart forever. I am truly grateful to have had such a wonderful person as my brother. I miss you very much Neil always will. Love Lorraine (your older sister) We joked about that. - Posted by: Lorraine (sister) on: Apr 20, 2019
