AUDREY LENOR (TOBY) MARTIN MACDONALD
She left to go dancing with the love of her life, her late husband Dr. Bob MacDonald and they both loved to dance.
Toby was born June 6, 1924 in Kelwood, MB, the only daughter of Albert and Margaret (nee Bray) Martin. She was the granddaughter of pioneers and proud of her farming heritage. She enjoyed Martin family reunions at the original homestead. She was proud the farm was still worked by direct descendants of her grandparents. Toby attended school in Oakville, MB and upon graduation set out to live life to the fullest. She graduated from the Winnipeg General Hospital nursing program in 1947. It was through nursing she met the everlasting love of her life, Bob, at the United Church Fresh Air Camp. They enjoyed many evenings dancing at the old Winnipeg Beach dance hall and she often remarked for such a big guy how light he was on his feet. They married May 3, 1951 and were inseparable until Bob's untimely death.
