MAUREEN (MOE) COMBE
Left to cherish Maureen's memory are her daughters, Deborah (Garth) and Tracey (Ken); son Stanley Combe; grandchildren, Jeff Combe (Donna), Jason Combe (Sabrina), Soleil-Shepard (Jerry), Anne Maureen Huizinga (Bryan), Amanda Beaton (Derek), Joey Baldwin (Kate Pellow) and Ryley Crawford (Ben Ominski); 11 great-grandchildren; close family friends, Guy, Linda, Rick, Nora, Sierra and her Calabria Deli family. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Combe; mother Emily Barnett; daughter April Huizinga and stepgranddaughter Kensey Crawford.
Moe met and married the love of her life in 1954 and had a 61-year romance. She was mum to many, especially the West End Gordon Bell gang. Moe worked many years with Stan operating many cabs at Duffy's and became a supervisor at Kimberly-Clark, and worked full-time until the age of 80 at Calabria Deli.
Special thanks to Dr. Woelk who Moe was blessed with, as well as to the amazing care and love she received from the Southern Health Home Care.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
