DARREN HEIDMAN
March 27, 1965 - May 9, 2018
It came unwelcome and unannounced and it took you. It shattered our life together and left pain and anger and fear. It took a wonderful, loving, intelligent, generous, caring, kind, man and ripped him from my world. There was no time for goodbye, no kiss, no embrace. All pleading and begging and bargaining fell on deaf ears, for death was a relentless thief. It stole everything we had and everything we wanted to be. Some days are harder than others. Some thoughts are more painful.
The loneliness and emptiness are unbearable and sometimes it seems death has won.
But I know it can never take the love we shared in the time we had together. We two, lost souls who finally found each other and loved every minute of "us". Death can't take that, or the memories I hold locked in my heart. Death won't ever take them. They are mine forever, protected in my heart with all my love.
Honey, I love you. Forever and always.
