SUSAN ANN LLOYD
(nee LOADMAN)

Twenty-five years ago family, friends and colleagues said goodbye to this spectacular woman who had overcome a lifetime illness to become a loving wife and mother, a remarkable scholar, a brilliant lawyer, an author and a compassionate friend and mentor to many.
It was a life which ended too soon, for she had much to give to those she loved and things she cherished.
All was not lost that day. Her legacy lives on through her remarkable and accomplished children, Matthew and Jonathan, who live their lives in her image. They loved her dearly and she would be so proud of their careers and families.
Her early environmental advocacy helped pioneer the march toward a cleaner world. Her determination to seek equality for woman in the practice of law helped open the doors for those who have achieved this goal. Her Foundation supports those students who strive to overcome disabilities to achieve success in the study of law. For all these things she will be remembered, loved, cherished and missed.
