Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 202 Harcourt Street, with Rev. Fr. Ihor Shved presiding. Interment will follow in Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Road and the Perimeter Highway.

I met Lorraine in the Wages Office at Eaton's in 1962. I worked with her for about four year and we went for coffee and lunch pretty nearly every day. I moved away to BC after having my daughter in 1971 but Lorraine and I kept in touch whenever I visited my parents through the years, until their passing. Lorraine visited me in my home for several days in 2015 and we would call each other every so often after that. We are the same age by a couple of months. Life is precious and so short.
