1926 - 2019
Mortie was born July 2, 1926 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, USA. The only child of John and Thora Mortenson.
Athalyne is survived by her husband Roy Barron who she married June 10, 2000, stepchildren, Robert Scott Barron and Catherine Joy Heuthorst and their children as well as her lifetime friends, Paula Aulis and Betty Beitz.
Mortie worked at the Hudson's Bay for 31 years in Winnipeg Manitoba where she was married to her previous husbands, Marcel Cordeil and Art Quinn.
Athalyne (Mortie) enjoyed a life of learning, golf and travel and will be sadly missed by all her knew her.
As per family's request, there will be no service.
