  • Darren, Joseph and Katie, I have just found out today. June 18. My heart is so heavy for all of you. I had the privilege of spending a couple hours every month with your beautiful wife and mother. Each appointment we would catch up on the kids, the sports, the lake, and often The Jets! I loved every minute of being her hairdresser and most importantly I loved how she spoke of your family life. She was so very very proud of her kids accomplishments. I'm so sorry for your loss and I will truly miss my friend. Fondly Loretta Covet Hair Studio - Posted by: Loretta Penner (Shelley’s hairdresser and friend) on: Jun 18, 2019

  • First meet Shelly working shift work at GWL. Always had a smile on her face and one could never forget her laugh. She was a good person to talk too. I last saw Shelly and Can Lan Ice Sport where her son was on the ice. It had been some time and we recognized each other right away. Again same old smile, laugh and yes was a great person to talk too. RIP Shelly and my sincere condolences to the family - Posted by: Larry Blanchard (Friend & Former Co-Worker) on: May 19, 2019

  • I'm so saddened to hear this news. I worked on the same floor with Shelley for almost 5 years. She was an expert at her job and more importantly, always a positive, joyful soul. I can remember her often scolding me for things our project team had or hadn't done (she was always right on those scoldings by the way) but she did it in a way that made you strive to correct yourself the next time. She also knew how to cut through red tape to get the job done! I loved working with her and always enjoyed her cheerful banter. She was certainly one of the most happy people I encountered in my time at GWL. My sincere condolences to her husband, children and family ....I hope your memories of her will eventually help numb the pain of your loss. - Posted by: Jeff McCartney (Former co-worker) on: May 19, 2019

  • Shelley, you were one in a million. The laughs all us girls had are too many to mention. Our trips were so much better because you were there. Your smile, your laughter, you dimples, your whole personality were beautiful beyond compare. I am heartbroken you are gone. Darren, Joe and Katie I can't imagine the sadness you are feeling but Shelley is always right beside you and part of you. To Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and Lori my sincere condolences and prayers. Rest easy Shelley, I know we will see each other again one day. xo - Posted by: Sheree Hanysh (Leone) (Friend of Shelley's) on: May 18, 2019
