Left to survive Jim are his wife Helen; daughters, Shelaine (Justin), Lori (Jason) and Jocelyn (Kurtis); six grandchildren; sister Heather (Rick); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Alice Holmes.
Jim was born on December 2, 1942 and grew up in Fort Garry. He worked for CNR Transcona for 34 years.
On behalf of the family, we would like to thank the staff on the third floor of Concordia Place for their care and compassion.
At Jim's request, there will be no service.

Helen and Family. Sorry to hear of your loss. I (Jack) spent many years working with Jim at the main office in the Transcona Shops. He was a wonderful person to work with. Thought of him often, only wished I had gone and paid him a visit.
