MARIANNE BETTY JUCKNAT

Our mother and Oma, Marianne Betty Jucknat (nee Mueller), passed away quietly on May 26, 2019, at the age of 90 years.
She will be missed dearly by her family, her children, Reinhard and Lianne (Curt); as well as grandchildren, Shanti Redpath, Robert and Caitlin Belton. She is also survived by her sister Renate Natzius of Germany as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.
Marianne was born in Tammau, East Prussia. Throughout her life, she reminisced fondly of her childhood years spent on her parent's farm.
After the war, she married Werner and, in 1958, she immigrated to Winnipeg with Werner and their son, Reinhard.
Werner and Marianne chose to live a quiet life together for many years, until last year when Werner passed away after 68 years of marriage.
Marianne loved cooking and baking for her family and sharing Sunday dinners with her family was a priority.
For sharing her love of family, of nature and gardening, we thank her.
If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Marianne's memory to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation.
Marianne's life will be celebrated at a private family function.
