(nee MALIZIA)
Peacefully, on June 2, 2019, Renata was called to take her rightful place in God's Garden. She is greeted with open arms by her beloved late husband, Domenico Menei. She leaves to mourn her children, Giancarlo (Tammy), Giuliano, Alessandra (Domenico), Fiorella (Nigel), Louie and Marcella (Tony); grandchildren, Ryan (Kyla), Tommy (Amandalina), Domenic, Melissa (Dan), Angie (Marco), Paulina (Anthony), Kayla and Nicolas; great-grandchildren, Mia, Mason, Makena, AJ, Raelyn, Mia Angelina and Amare.
Renata was born June 19, 1938 in San Giorgio, Teramo, Italy. She immigrated to Canada with her husband in 1965 seeking a better life for their family. She worked in the hospitality industry for many years and also devoted her life to caring for her six children.
The family would like to thank The Reliable Agency with special thanks to Evelyn and Karma, and we would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital for all of their help and support.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Parish Church, 510 River Avenue, with Fr. Sam Argenziano as the Celebrant. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street.
Active Pallbearers are Ryan Menei, Tommy Foderaro, Domenic and Nicolas Menei, Dan Molyneux and Marco Tummillo.
