Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • My condolences on Bill's passing. Bill and I worked together back in the late 70's and early 80's, in the old St. B days, and would see each other occasionally over the years since. Bill was always a real gentleman, in all his dealings, whether it be across the bargaining table, at a grievance hearing or over a cup of coffee. A great loss to Labour Relations. Again, my condolences - Posted by: George Coupland (colleague ) on: Jun 10, 2019

  • Farewell to a true gentleman, it was always a pleasure working with Bill. Very skilled and ethical in his approach to problem solving and life in general. As far as I can remember Bill never trafficked in idle gossip or bad words for anyone he dealt with. Our deepest condolences to Heather and family for whom Bill had such great love and respect for. Bill walked the road as an example of grace and respect for others to follow. Rest in peace, free from pain, our ranks are thinning, but our memories of you and your character will continue, as our time is sure to follow. - Posted by: pat joyce (co-worker) on: Jun 08, 2019

  • My sincere condolences on your loss. I pray that memories of happier times will see you through your time of grief! "God gave us memory so we might enjoy roses in winter." I was a hospital human resources professional when Bill was the same at Winnipeg Municipal Hospital. I knew him to be an affable, honorable gentleman who will be missed. - Posted by: Bob Strong (Work colleague) on: Jun 08, 2019

  • Our recent visits showed me that friendship does not have to be renewed. Our lifelong friendship withstood our comings and goings that our careers placed upon us. Psalm 23 - Posted by: Ivan Jones (Friend) on: Jun 08, 2019
