1944 - 2019
Gail was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and was the only child of Stewart and Marguerite Steen (nee Corrie). She worked for Winnipeg School Division #1 for over 25 years. She came to Saskatoon in 1986 and made this her home. Gail enriched the lives of everyone she encountered and if you were her friend you were family. She loved her children and grandchildren, was an enthusiastic volunteer for the CN Pensioners, Railway Museum and the NDP for many years and was ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
A funeral service will be held at ACADIA-McKAGUE'S FUNERAL CENTRE, 915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK, on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in Gail's memory directly to the charity of one's choice.
