Peacefully, in his sleep on June 7, 2019, Roland Jubinville, 83, went to take his rightful place in the Kingdom.
Roland (also known as 'Ti-blanc') was born to Xavier Jubinville and Simone Maisonneuve in Letellier. Growing up on the farm, Ti-blanc and his 10 brothers and sisters worked hard tending to dairy cows, slaughter hogs, turkeys, cereal crops and a large garden.
Roland and Xavier worked side by side on the farm. Education was important and Roland attended school in Letellier, then Collège Otterburne followed by the juniorat Collège Mathieu in Gravelbourg, SK.
On November 9, 1968, Roland married Noella Payette of St-Lupicin and they took over the farm where they raised three children and continued the legacy. After 49 years of marriage, Noella passed away September 15, 2017.
Ti-blanc is remembered as being a hard worker, even tempered, patient, resourceful and inventive; those who had the pleasure of meeting him enjoyed his quick wit and practical jokes.
Roland is survived by his loving children: Jean (Tauna Craik), Linda (Shawn) Cunningham and Ginette (Ryan) Hanna and grandchildren, Arron, Madison, Haelen and Delaney. Also left to mourn are his brothers, Ludger and Lionel (Lonie), sisters, Jeanne, Cecile and Mathilde as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph, Manitoba.

  • Repose en paix Ti-Blanc. Comment ressemble ton grand frère Paul, mon pere. Puisses-tu être a nouveau ensemble pour regarder tous tes proches. My fondest memory of the farm is Ti-Blanc running the ferris wheel that he built with all the Jubinville grandkids sitting and hanging off of it. Such great memories.
