Left to mourn are her three daughters, Julie (Barry), Angela, and Jennifer (George). Also her grandchildren, James, Jacqueline, Ethan, Melissa (Chad), Ashley (Carter), Christopher (Alanna) and Hope, and great-grandchildren, Jaiya, Landyn, Luxon, Avynne, Addisyn, Jocelyn, Harper and Layla. Renee also leaves family across the pond in England and a cousin in New Zealand.
Renee was a stay at home mom for many years, but once her children were old enough to be independent she embarked on a new career as a Ward Clerk in the Intensive Care Unit at the Grace General Hospital in Winnipeg. After 15 years working at the hospital Renee and Harry moved to Nanaimo to enjoy their retirement years.
Renee was a kind, gentle and loving mother who enjoyed spending time with family. She was an avid reader and spent hours being immersed in the writings of a good book. She loved cruising and ballroom dancing and spent many evenings dancing the night away with Harry. Renee also enjoyed a good game of trivia and was very knowledgeable in all categories.
A special thank you to ALL the caregivers that treated Mom with the utmost care, compassion and respect that she so deserved. You were all so very gentle and kind and for that we are extremely grateful!!
We say goodbye with a deep sense of loss and sadness but also with immense gratitude for the love and support you always gave to us and for the values you instilled in us.
We will love you forever Mom and miss you always!!
