JOHN FEDORCHUK
July 1, 1935 - June 11, 2019

Dad lived a good, long life. He and his eight siblings and parents grew up six miles outside of Birtle in Western Manitoba. They worked very hard on a half section farm, working with horses for field work, tree clearing, and travelling to town to sell wood, cream and other farm produce, and to get flour and sugar. He had many jobs, including forestry, oil rigs, carpentry and bus driving. His love was always farming. He and Mom lived on their small farm outside Garson for the last 57 years. These last three years he could not farm but still enjoyed going for drives down the back roads (he sometimes called them "turkey trails"). Dad liked looking out at the fields and farms, especially catching sight of tractors or animals. We will miss him so much, his stories, generosity, help whenever needed, and especially his sense of humour.
Left behind is his wife of 59 years, Elsie, his children, Joe and Deb Fedorchuk, Pat Harlow and Don Batenchuk, Barb Fedorchuk, Diane and Victor Robertson, and Bob and Sue Fedorchuk, grandchildren, Jerry and Bobby, Thomas and Curtis, Kaitlyn (Brent), Samantha and Tamara, Paul and Mandy, Melissa, Nicole, and Mike, and great-grandchildren, Braxon and Isabella.
A heartfelt, sincere thank you to staff of Beausejour Hospital, Grace Hospital, and especially East Gate Lodge - including Dr. Nick. Your care and hard work helped Dad so much!
