Blair, I was deeply saddened to read of your mom's passing. I needn't tell you what a very special person your mom was. I got to know her when you and Cory attended school together. Both Joan and I volunteered our time over the years to Bannatyne, Golden Gate and Silver Heights Schools. Whether it was helping out with Sneaker Day or trying to save the Band Program Joan always gave her best. I remember her fondly for her beautiful, gentle manner and her willingness to enjoy the lighter moments with a good laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. My most sincere condolences to you, your brothers, your dad and your extended families. - Posted by: Val Bishop (formerly Krentz) (Friend) on: Jun 23, 2019

Joan was such a lovely soul. Our classmates treasured her. She was our class rep until she moved to Kelowna before the age of computers and did a wonderful job of keeping us updated about class news. We will miss her. - Posted by: Sally Thomas (WGH Classmate 62B) on: Jun 19, 2019
