IRENE JOHNSTON
I had my final lie down with her at 7:30 a.m. that morning and I know she knew I was there, and I was blessed to be rubbing her shoulder to comfort her when she passed away. I was so happy I was so close to her. She was absolutely the finest person I have ever known.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral as Irene and I will be buried together at a future date.

I played Bridge with Irene many years ago and shared man stories ad laughs. Their daughter and our son Roger were best friends growing up. We also spent a New Years Eve with them at there home on Roblin Blvd. Irene was a fun loving friend and am saddened by her passing. Our thoughts are with the family at this time. RIP my friend. - Posted by: Grace Gillespie (Friend) on: Jun 21, 2019

So sorry to hear of Irene's passing. She was a great sister and far to young to leave this earth. Best wishes Jack. - Posted by: John Blower (Brother) on: Jun 20, 2019

We were great friends for 60 years. I was happy Irene waited for me to say "goodbye and " I love you", for my last visit, June 8th. Her last words to me that morning was. "I love you too." I'll miss you my dear friend. REST IN PEACE. - Posted by: Kitty Tomik (bff) on: Jun 20, 2019
