Culver and I worked together as installers and repairmen at MTS, going back to the '50s and we always connected. He would have us over and Mary would give us her delicious treats. We were on the Pop Warner Football committee when Robert and my son David (deceased) played for the St. James team. Mary was from Wisconsin and he had me and another member drive to Milwaukee to pick up equipment from a school. I went to the church to go to the service today and was late because of a car problem but there was such a big turn out that the streets were full for blocks around and having to use a walker I returned home and had a cold one for Culver. RIP and I will miss all your humour - Posted by: Robert Bull (Friend and co-worker) on: Jun 26, 2019

I met Culver in 1999 when we worked together as volunteers for the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, and we've stayed in touch, off and on, ever since. Culver was a great guy to work with, and was ever a truly fine citizen of Winnipeg. - Posted by: Doug Johnston (Friend) on: Jun 24, 2019

Tab and I spent many good times together as young men growing in St. James. I was a groomsman at his wedding to Mary. He visited us in Cape Breton. My sincere sympathies to the family on their loss. - Posted by: Bob Brown (Friend) on: Jun 22, 2019
