MARGRET HARDER
She was predeceased by husband Herbert in 1991. She is survived by sons, Gordon and Gary (Lynn), grandchildren, Trevor and Brett, and sister Luzia Molet, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchild Lily.
She emigrated from Germany to Canada in the 1950s, and settled in Winnipeg where she met husband Herbert, and became a mother in the 1960s.
She will fondly be remembered as hard working, generous, ever-loving and committed to family.
Funeral services will held on Wednesday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vital Parish (Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My condolences on the passing of your loving mother. You mostly likely don't remember us but your parents were long time friends of my parents, Jules and Jeannette Gheeraert. Your father, Herbert, was the first friend my Dad made when he came to Canada from Belgium in 1949. I think neither of them could speak English. Their friendship lasted throughout their lives. Our families would visit together. As my brother says, they went wayyyy back.
