  • Our condolences to Denise, Chantal, Justin, extended family and friends of which we are honored to count ourselves amongst. It was always a highlight of the day when George and Denise came to the restaurant. You could count on George to give you a good ribbing and leave you laughing. But he could take as well as he would give. Hard to believe he's gone. May time ease your sorrow and memories warm your hearts. Peter, Phil and Jimmy. - Posted by: Peter Andromidas (Friend) on: Jul 12, 2019

  • I am so very sorry & shocked to hear the passing of such an amazing person. I worked with George at RiverRidge and he was such a gentle, humorous and positive person to be around. I always made a point to talk and tease George and he always did the same. We always laughed at each other without saying anything, he was always so nice and positive to be around. I'll always remember him and it was a privilege that I had the chance to meet him. I wish his family my very sincere condolences. George always spoke so highly of his family :) - Posted by: Jamie Muzyka (Co-worker) on: Jul 03, 2019

  • My deepest sympathy to Denise and family. Spent many years hanging with this super couple. Remember the night George popped the big question, with all of us around at the good old St. B. Hotel. Last saw you both at a social a few years ago, and it was like time stood still. You were both still like newlyweds, the love you both shared was so special. May you find comfort in all your memories and the strength of family, friends, and faith. - Posted by: Leslie Jones (Friend) on: Jul 02, 2019

  • My deepest sympathy and condolences for your sudden loss...to all the family, friends and loved ones that shared George's life. I think back to the memories of George throughout my life some funny, some sad, some happy. Sadly none that are recent for me, but the only things we can keep are the memories and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to have memories of him in years past. In hearing of his sudden passing, many memories of George and I as youngsters came back and made me smile so I would like to share this poem I found that seemed appropriate in this time of grief... Back To The Start © Rita Box Step into a memory, Of all the years that have passed. Remember all the good times, The ones locked in to last. Sometimes your heart has broken, All shattered, torn and sad, Like when you lose a loved one, The best friend you had. But memories last a lifetime, They are planted in your heart, So look at all the sad things, Then turn them to the start, To the memory of the time that passed, The times that made you laugh. - Posted by: Gerald Loiselle (Cousin) on: Jun 30, 2019

  • Dear Claude and Lorraine, please accept our sincere condolences on this sad event. It is always painful for a parent to lose a child before it’s time. We regret that we will be unable to attend his funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. - Posted by: Rita and John Baron (Cousin ) on: Jun 30, 2019

  • My sympathies to Denise, Chantal and Justin and all the family and friends. It has been years since we have seen each other. I was shocked and saddened to hear of George's passing. George was in my wedding party 35 years ago. I have great memories of George making spaghetti and throwing against the wall to see if it was ready. If it stuck to the wall it was ready to eat! Also going out with George, Denise and my wife Donna to drink at the St. B and going to Lot of Socials back in the 80’s together. It seems like it was only yesterday. You will be missed my friend. - Posted by: Jean Fontaine (Friend) on: Jun 29, 2019

  • I met George by chance and not sure what brought us together. He’s kind, funny, friendly, patient, talented and seriously obviously a perfect husband. Wish I knew you and Denise years ago. Pinch me I need to wake up. This can’t be happening. Until we meet again my friend 🦋🦋 - Posted by: Allison (Friend) on: Jun 29, 2019

  • George was a great addition to Oakview Place. He always had a smile on his face and if we were down he always had a joke to make us smile. It’s so hard to know he is gone but he loves his bike he always talk about it with me. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be in my heart forever. • George you were one of the first people I started hanging with at Nelson McIntyre when I moved to this big city from a little old country town. We had a lot of good times in those days and unfortunately we lost track of each other for a short while. Hooking up with you after years gone by was a good thing bringing back the memories of our yesteryears. You talked to me about the bike u just bought from a acquaintance back home and how excited you were to get rolling. It saddens me we won’t be able to saddle up together this summer but one day we will. Till we meet again George. Condolences to the family. - Posted by: Ron Malkowich (Friend ) on: Jun 29, 2019
