PATRICIA MARY REID

We are sorry to announce the passing of Patricia Mary Reid on June 26, 2019 at the Lions Place Personal Care Home, where she was lovingly cared for the last five years.
Pat was born on November 7, 1929 the beloved only child of Charlie and Edith Reid. She grew up on Ingersoll Street and attended Daniel McIntyre Collegiate and then the University of Manitoba in Home Economics. Pat was an enthusiastic and dedicated president of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. After graduation Pat moved to Toronto and pursued a career in the expanding field of advertising. A pioneer of her time Pat returned to Winnipeg to be closer to her mother and established a successful market research and public opinion polling company called Opinion Place.

  • So sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. She was an amazing person. She hired me in the late 70s as a young teenager to work at Opinion Place. She was an great role model.   • Sorry to learn about this. Pat was someone who gave me an opportunity to have some real life experience in marketing research at her company, where I worked in the early 80s. I'll forever be grateful for that.
