BARTON
April 15, 1936 - June 25, 2019
Bunny was born on April 15, 1936 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She grew up in Bissett, Manitoba and attended San Antonio School. She moved to Minneapolis/St. Paul in 1961 and spent the next 51 years there, becoming active in the St. Paul Curling Club and St. James Catholic Church. When she retired in 2012, She moved back to Winnipeg.
She was predeceased by her parents, Stavus and Albertine, infant brother Stavus, brother Winston, niece Monica Barton and nephew Michael Parrott.
Left with wonderful memories are siblings, Brian, Bobbie (Glenn) and Terry (Sheila) and their families. We will miss her ready smile and quick wit. She was always ready to help and was supportive of all our dreams.
Funeral mass will be said on Saturday, July 6 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 548 Home Street at Ellice Avenue, Winnipeg. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life and lunch will follow downstairs in the church hall. Interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery at 3990 Portage Ave. at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, should you choose to donate to a charity in Bunny's memory, we suggest the Kamala Foundation at kamalafoundation.org (our family charity), or the Canadian Cancer Society.

So very sorry to hear of Rose-Marie's passing. I will always remember her smile and the joy that she showed whenever I saw her. She loved working with the children. I know she will be missed by all.
