DEBRA ANN RODGERS
Beloved wife of Brian Rodgers, mother to Shaun (Jennifer) of Cold Lake, AB and Robert of Winnipeg, MB and cherished grandmother to Shayla, Jeremy, Joshua, Cassandra and Raelynn. Debra will also be greatly missed by her parents, Richard and Myrna Tweed; brothers, David, Bill and Jim; sister Pamela; mother-in-law Ruby Gilroy; brothers-in-law, Lloyd, Larry, Garnet, Ralph, Jeff, Nelson and sister-in-law Florence; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Debra Ann was born February 17, 1961 in Windsor, ON and spent time living in Germany and all across Canada. Debra met her husband Brian in Moose Jaw while serving her country. After a short courtship, they were married on February 18, 1984. Later came their two sons. Debra and Brian continued to serve their country while spending time in Cornwallis, Borden, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Yellowknife. They had decided to enjoy their retirement in Winnipeg. Debra enjoyed spending time playing darts in numerous different Legions and leagues wherever they were living at the time. She also spent 15 years as a Beaver and Cub leader in Cornwallis, Borden and Winnipeg. Most recently she relished in her time watching her grandchildren in the many activities they partook in.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019, 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, 2235 Silver Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.
The family would like to send their sincere gratitude to all the staff that cared for Debra during her time spent at the Health Sciences Centre Women's Hospital. They showed Debra nothing but kindness and care during her stay.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Legion Poppy Fund; The Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command, 86 Aird Place, Ottawa, ON K2L 0A1, which was a cause very close to Debra's heart.

Dear Uncle Brian and my cousins, I cherished my Aunty Debbie and her family. She was such a amazing lady she never treated me any differently when I made huge mistakes in my life. She also showed me love and kindness. I miss her with all my heart. My prayers are with you she is now dancing in the sky. I remember going to the air shows with her. Fly Aunty fly.
