Margaret is lovingly remembered by her children, Lorraine (Larry) Hannah and Paul (Maria) Le Hingrat, her sister Evelyn Kenny, her brother-in-law Emile (Anne) Le Hingrat, numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Aline and Yvette Duval.
She was predeceased by her husband Lionel Le Hingrat in 2015, her brother Gordon Kenny, younger brother Roy, and parents, Charles and Elizabeth Kenny.
Margaret was born October 5, 1933 in Stonewall, Manitoba. After finishing high school in East Selkirk she moved to Winnipeg for her first full-time position at London Life. She later moved over to the Manitoba Telephone Systems and eventually Canadian Tire, enjoying a long career there.
Mom loved people and enjoyed dancing, being with friends and family, travelling, and gardening. She was known for her fantastic baking and for her needlepoint and crochet. She served on the Holy Family Parish's Ladies Auxiliary for a number of years.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Holy Family Parish, 778 Archibald Street. Interment will follow on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11:15 a.m. at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
The family wishes to thank Doctors Jones, Pelletier and Wiebe, as well as the staff of GH-6 for their compassionate care and support. Many thanks to Parusia Purohit BN, MN, NP, (Purohit Nurse Practitioner Clinic) and Etelvina Demelo from Home Care Assistance Winnipeg for taking such excellent care of Mom during this past year. The family would like to thank the many family and friends who supported us in these difficult times.

Our deepest condolences to you all on the loss of a wonderful lady. We have warm memories of Margaret and Lionel's visits to B.C. with my parents, Gordon & Ethel, and the engaging conversation, laughter and fun that always filled the living room. Our hearts go out to the family. It is so sad and difficult to say a final goodbye to a loved one. May you find comfort in the fond memories you have of this very special lady, mom/mother-in-law. My heart goes out to the family. Margaret was a wonderful person to meet and to know. Was a joy to visit with see. In the short amount of time that I had known her was a pleasure. Prayers to Paul, Maria and family. Also for close friends that got a chance to know her prayers for you as well. I am sure she touched many lives in her life's journey.
