JAMES ROBERT YOUNG
Riverview Health Centre at the age of 71 years.
Predeceased by his first wife Petra and his second wife Jill, parents, William and Olga, brother Bill and sister Wendy.
Jim is survived by his daughter Cindy
(Kevin), sister-in-law Leslie, nieces, April (Jim) and Tara (Vern), nephews, Chris (Janis) and Mark.
Jim was employed at CN Rail as an
electrician until his retirement and could
often be seen doing crossword puzzles or
enjoying a good book.
Service will be held at Seasons Funeral Chapel, 576 Balsam Cres., Tuesday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. in Oakbank, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Many memories of Trivial Pursuit evenings where Jim would clean our clocks with his recall. Lots of funny times with Jim and Petra, Grey Cup games on his huge 29” TV (well... huge at the time), ski trips with Jim and Cindy to far destinations where long days were spent on the hill and evenings revolved around card games, hot tubs and beer.
