CHERYL MAUREEN CARRETTE
1961 - 2019

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl, our dear wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt on July 14, 2019 at St. Boniface Hospital.
Predeceased by her father Allan/Bonnie, brothers-in-law, Shady and JC, cousin Michelle and uncles, Paul and Louis. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Barrett, her son Wesley, mother Yvonne, sisters, Sandra (Glenn), Donna (Ryan), Anastasia, Marion, Juanita (Randy) and Alicia (Terry), brothers, Kerry (Melanie), Jerome, William, Andrew and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cheryl was born November 23, 1961 in Germany but lived in Transcona all her life. Cheryl worked at 7-eleven in the retail business for over 30 years, where she had many friends and acquaintances. Cheryl loved to cook, just like her father, for all special occasions for family and friends. She enjoyed her summers at her other home north of Gimli, where she enjoyed being outdoors in the sun.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff on the sixth floor and the ICU team at St. Boniface Hospital.
A celebration of Cheryl's Life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
