He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter Myrna and John Hamm; two sons, Fred and Brenda Pohl, and Dale and Wanda Pohl, as well as seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is survived by two sisters, Hazel Dunlop and Margaret Pospeshell.
He was predeceased by his partner, Lillian Thue in 2018.
Viewing will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 22 at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill Street in Morden and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at St. Paul's United Church 353 Thornhill St. in Morden with interment to follow at Southside Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Eric's memory to the Boundary Trails Health Centre Foundation, designated to the Dialysis Unit.
