LEON ST. GODARD
1924 - 2019
He is survived by his wife Isabelle and leaves to mourn his daughters, Annette Kaebe and Léona Van Osch (Marinus) and his sons, Charles and Daniel. He also leaves his grandchildren, Monique (Lee), Derek (Stacy) and Marcel (Karalyn), Joanne, Robert (Jacqueline), Matthew and Stephan and his great-grandchildren, as well as Isabelle's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Léon was predeceased by his wife, Gisèle in 1989 and infant daughter Monique in 1963.
He was blessed to have been married with Gisèle for 37 years; and with Isabelle for 29 years.
Léon loved the outdoors and spent many years pursuing his passions of camping, hunting and fishing. He loved travelling across Ontario and the Prairies visiting family and friends along the way.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at Seasons Funeral Chapel, 576 Balsam Crescent, Oakbank, MB.
Thank you to the staff of Villa Youville for their kind and compassionate care over the past five years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzeimer Society of Manitoba, 10-124 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.

Leona, of course this was expected, but it is still a heartache. My thoughts are with you. (Daughter of Margaret on Ward C). I got a kick out of some the interactions with Leon when he was on Ward B and I would be there visiting my mom (Margaret). I still remember one of my last interactions with him with a chuckle, before he was moved to Ward C.
