My deepest sympathy Irene for your tremendous loss. It is a long lonely road but the memories that you shared with Clive will endure. You have great inner strength and insight which will serve you well. My thoughts will be with you. Joyce - Posted by: Joyce (Friend of Irene's from MNU) on: Aug 11, 2019

On a trip up to Long Lake in the early years four of us left after work so we pitched a tent at a campsite on route. We eventually got to sleep and about 5:00 a.m. some Bos pulled into the campsite, drinking and B.Sing sitting on the picnic tables and just being a nuisance waking us up. Clive was prepared for this sort of aggravation, he unzipped the tent flap, stuck a 303 out the flap and fired one round at a 45 gallon drum garbage can. We never saw those Bos again they packed up and left in 30 seconds, what a laugh. Probably couldn't get away with that these days. - Posted by: Wayne & Eileen Pavey (Acquaintance/friend) on: Jul 30, 2019

Would really love to be there Irene, however I can't make it. I just had a total knee replacement Friday and will not be going anywhere for awhile. - Posted by: Wayne & Eileen Pavey (Acquaintance/friend) on: Jul 28, 2019

I knew Clive when I was a member and active in CUPE, but left HSC a number of years ago. We shared many talks over the years I knew him and I always valued his wisdom and advice. Clive was pretty old school and a gentleman to the core. I am a better person for knowing him. My condolences to his loved ones.
