October 30, 1921 - July 27, 2019
Lukie will be deeply missed by her son
Edward (Bernice). She is also survived by
numerous nieces and nephews.
Lukie was predeceased by her husband George in 2001; parents, Oscar and Maria (Thienpondt), brothers, Lucien (Angela),
Nestor (Germaine), Gerry (Mary), Gilbert (Margaret), Albert (Irene), sisters, Angela (Wilbur Van Walleghem), Susan (Charlie
De Meyer), Agnes (George Knockaert), brothers-in-law, Albert (Rachel), Joe (Elsie), Jules (Lise) and sisters-in-law, Elsie (Gordie) Young, Mary Deneweth, Jowie (Frank) Boone.
Mom was a lifetime member of the Belgian Club, enjoying a long life, living at home as she wished until her last week in Concordia Hospital.
Graveside service will be held on
Thursday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m., Fort Garry Cemetery, 826 Crescent Drive, Winnipeg, MB.
