MARJORIE MINKE
March 31, 1929 - July 30, 2019

It is with heavy hearts and much sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Minke, our beloved mother, grandmother and friend. Marj passed away very peacefully in the early hours of July 30 at Irene Thomas Hospice in Delta, BC.
Marj had a very full 90 years and was loved greatly by her husband Edgar for 59 years until his passing in 2011 .
She is survived by her three sons, Greg (Marilyn), Peter (Veronica) and Chris (Jill), four grandchildren, Michelle (Dean), Angela (Peter), Carson and Zofia and great-grandson Max, as well as many extended family members and friends.
As a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church of Canada, a Celebration of Life service will be held for Marj, Friday, August 16 at 2:30 p.m. at White Rock Lutheran Church, St. John's Worship Centre, 1480 George Street, White Rock, BC and interment at Valleyview Cemetery, 14660 72nd Ave., Surrey, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated by the Irene Thomas Hospice in Delta, BC or the Canadian Cancer Society.
