JERRY EDWARD HALLETT
May 8, 1939 July 29, 2019
Jerry was a kind gentle man who loved to joke around, play his guitar and sing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He worked the highways doing many jobs but spent the majority on the grader which he loved. Jerry had a big heart and touched all he had met.
Left to mourn is his children, Todd, Shannon (Chris), Donna (Brian), Peggy (Gord), and Jerry John (Jeanie); his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Geraldine Hallett; his parents, John and Clarissa Hallett; daughter Nicole Hallett; and grandchildren, Ethan Williams and Jerry (J.C) Hallett, and three sisters and two brothers.
Upon Jerry's request to not have a funeral when he passed, but to be cremated on the fourth day of his passing, his family is honouring his wishes.
The family would like to thank everyone who came to visit dad, called or texted to see how he was and to the wonderful care provided to him by the nurses and doctors and to all who have comforted us during our loss, your kind words and thoughts are appreciated.
A Meaningful Talk
"When my day is here,
it'll be my day and there is nothing
anybody can do about it,
not you or God or anybody,
it's God talking and taking me home"
- Jerry Hallett
It's gonna be a little bit scary
But I want you to know
I'll be ok now, Daddy
You can let go.
