• Heartfelt condolences to family in the loss of Rae. I had the pleasure of knowing Rae who was a friend to my mother, Lucy, while living at the Bourkevale. She was always there to help my mom and they shared many stories, but mostly laughs. I was happy to help drive them around when needed for groceries or the odd garage sale. After mom’s passing Rae and I spent some time together helping each other get through our loss. I will always be thankful for that time. She was a true and loving friend to our family. Thank you Rae. • Remembering with fondness my favourite bus driver. Her kindness and special care meant so much to a little girl just starting school and the years following until she retired. When my own children started riding a bus to school I could only wish for them that they might experience the same care and concern Mrs. Freeborn (as she was known to me) gave. Never underestimate how much your life/actions might impact another. Thank you Mrs. Freeborn.
