IDA ROCAN
(nee PELLETIER)
Ida was born October 29, 1932 to Felix and Leontine (Fisette) Pelletier and raised in LaBroquerie. Lovingly remembered by her children, Lise (Leonard) Pescitelli, Leo Jr., Gerry (Sue), Jocelyn Predinchuk, John (Denise), Nicole (Kevin) Anderson and Carole (Darryl) Kehler. She leaves to mourn 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, Leo Sr. and her son-in-law Greg Predinchuk. She will forever be remembered by family and friends.
After increasing her education at Plurielles, she went on to work for the Province of Manitoba in various capacities. She was an active member of the Canadian Daughters League of Canada and the Manitoba Association of Retired Government Employees. She enjoyed bowling, card games and hours of Yahtzee. She was adventurous and loved to travel. She had the, "I can do anything attitude". Even her license plate read, "4evryng".
The family would like to thank the third floor staff of Foyer Valade for the care she received.
Prayer services will be held Thursday, August 8 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home on Highway 1, with funeral services to be held Friday, August 9 at the St. Boniface Cathedral church, 190 de la Cathedrale Ave. Viewing at 10:00 a.m. with mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. Following the interment at Green Acres Funeral Home, the family and friends will gather in the church basement for a luncheon and sharing of memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ida's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.

Lorsque Marcel et moi étions un jeune couple avec 2 petits, nous avions connu votre mère Ida. Elle était une voisine aimable qui prenait le temps de nous parler. J’ai surtout connue Nicole et Carole qui venait jouer avec les enfants. Mes condoléances à la famille. Votre mère était pleine d’énergie et prête à tout faire.
