June 20, 1937- August 7, 2019
Leaving to mourn, his wife Patricia of 54 years; children, Ernest, Ian (Denise) and Pamela (Greg); grandchildren, Rachel, Logan, Ashley, Kristine, Tiffany, Shianna, Emily and Bethany; great-grandchildren, Caden, Brady, Thane, Edith, Benna, Nora, Rose and Hazel.

Dad was born the youngest sibling in Winnipeg. He attended Tarno School where he made lifelong friends. After school, he followed his siblings to work in several mines. Returning to Riverton, he met and married Patricia Koblun. Dad worked delivering mail before working at Riverton Boat Works while farming as well. Dad found his forte welding, which he continued until his last days repairing boat props. Dad provided a home or help to many nieces and nephews who always held him in high regard. Dad continued to be a source of advice, information or help to all who knew him. Dad was a founding member of the Riverton Elks Lodge #530. He received his 50 year pin this spring. Dad had a talent for music and still played his violin at family request. Mom and Dad welcomed everyone in their home, always ready with a glass of homemade wine.
He will be deeply missed. A private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Riverton Cemetery.

I spent many of my childhood summers with my Uncle Stefan and Auntie Pat and the kids. They were like parents to me and some of the kindest people I have ever met. I am so sorry for your loss and send our love to the whole family. I’m so sorry for your loss. I have wonderful memories of your dad and your family from our visits when I was young. I remember him giving me a ride in a really old Ford (like 1920s) he had. Love to you all during this very difficult time. - Posted by: Colleen Eyjolfson Einfeld (Niece ) on: Aug 10, 2019
