September 17, 1940 - July 27, 2019
Beloved by family and friends to many, he is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Margaret; children, Kimberly and Johnathan; grandchildren, Jamila, Bailey, Caleb and Luke. Sid is predeceased by his daughter Katherine. Sid was a hardworker and lover of life. Beneath his gruff exterior was a tenderness of heart to those who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Sid's life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Braeside Church, 1011 Munroe Avenue.

We are so sad to hear about "Sid's" passing. Every day for the last 10 years our shop dog Buddy would patiently wait at the front counter for his friend Sid to stop by. Sometimes he brought a dog treat or on special occasions a chicken mcnugget or cheeseburger in exchange for a scratch behind the ear and a pat on the head. You could tell Sid loved animals and they loved him. I'm so sorry for your loss Margaret and family.
