TED KLYM
He is survived by his spouse, Elizabeth, children, daughter, Kelleigh (Frank), beloved granddaughter, Ava, and son, Kyle.
Ted was born in Winnipeg and grew up in the North End. He was active in the youth group and remained friends with members 60 years later. He was a Third Degree Knights of Columbus. Dad was employed at the Holy Family Home for almost 50 years. Dad loved children, animals, meet ups with family and friends for weekly coffee. He was the best Gigi ever and listened attentively to Ava's stories and songs. He had a keen interest in vintage cars, enjoyed old country and western and fiddle. Dad was a hard worker, great provider and had tremendous inner strength. Dad valued education and supported his children in their studies. Dad asked for little but gave a lot.
Dad, we miss you, your gentle hands
and those beautiful blue eyes.
A service will be held at The Immaculate Conception Church, 68003 Cooks Creek Road, Cooks Creek, Manitoba on August 15, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Taras Kowch officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
I depend on Him alone; I put my hope in Him. He alone protects and saves me;
He is my defender and I shall never be defeated. Psalm 62: 5
