Left to mourn are wife Béatrice Baudry, children, Paul (Rafael Bravo), Guy (Faith Isbister), Raymond (Doug Berry), Diane (George Marchildon) and Suzanne (Carmen Amos), grandchildren, Elizabeth, Patrick (Jane), Alexandre, André, Katherine (Brendan), Carolyne, Léanne, Alice, and great-grandchildren, Norah, Sydney and Beatrice. Also mourning are siblings, Yolande Parent, Jacqueline Mousseau, Maurice Sherwood (Anne-Marie), Rose-Marie Sherwood, Yvette Sherwood and Collette Lobel (Maurice), as well as Baudry in-laws, Collette LeGras (Fern), Alice Laver (Peter), Jeanne Baudry and Thérèse Baudry, aunt Cécile Rémillard-Beaudry, uncle/great friend Paul Rémillard (Francine), and many relatives and friends.
After childhood on the farm, Joseph obtained his B.A. from Collège de Saint-Boniface and his LL.B. from University of Manitoba. He practiced law in private and public concerns across Canada (Montréal, Ottawa, Fredericton, Winnipeg, Edmonton). Joseph had a passion for history, politics, science, urban growth, economics, and imparted that critical thirst of knowledge to his kids.
Joseph dedicated many years to genealogical research, leaving behind a wealth of documentation for subsequent generations. He was proud of his family's humble origins (both French and English). He always remained attached to the family farm, where his ashes will be scattered.
Donations may be made in Joseph's memory to the Foundation Actionmarguerite (thanks to Foyer Valade and Centre Taché staff) or to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.

Beatrice, my sincere condolences to you & your entire family.
