Uncle Eddie, Auntie Sophie, and Jeffery, my heart and prayers go out you and the family. Although I haven't seen Laurie since she was a child, my fondest memory was her smile and laugh. We were Facebook friends and she always sent me pictures of you guys and what she was up to. Sorry I am unable to attend her service, I send my sincerest sympathy and ever lasting love. - Posted by: Gail Dell Aleksijuk (Cousin) on: Aug 15, 2019
Ed Sophie and Jeff our thoughts and prays are with you all on the loss of Laurie. - Posted by: Bryan and Bernice (Bryan worked for Ed) on: Aug 15, 2019
I was saddened to hear of Laurie's passing. Many days when I would feel down at work, she would know just what to say to put a smile on my face. We would laugh, tell jokes and stories and listen to way to much loud music in the countroom. We had gone our seperate ways, but from time to time when I would find myself feeling down, the memories of all of those crazy over night shifts that we all shared would pick me up. Thank you my friend Laurie for always knowing what to say to bring a smile to my face. To the Turko family, I offer my deepest condolences, the world has truely lost a one of it's finest. - Posted by: Chris Fedak (Co-worker at Manitoba Lotteries) on: Aug 14, 2019
