VIVAKANAND (VIC) SUKHRAM

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son and brother, Vivakanand (Vic) Sukhram, on Friday, August 9, 2019. Born on August 9, 1969, he passed at the age of 50.
He is survived by his mother, Kamala Sukhram Elias; father, Rampersaud Sukhram; brother, Devananad (Dave) Sukhram; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was grandson of the late Ramkhed and Ramdaya Raghoo.
Vic was born in Guyana, South America and moved to Canada at the age of six. He was employed at St. Boniface Hospital as a medical laboratory technologist. After resigning from St. Boniface, he worked as a pharmaceutical consultant for a period of time and then moved back to Georgetown, Guyana to further his studies at the University of Guyana, where he studied economics and statistics. He returned to Canada and continued to work in the medical field.
He enjoyed travelling, fishing and spending time with his family and friends, especially Kari, Joey and George.
Many will remember the kind, caring and loving person that he was, and his willingness and generosity in times of need.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., with reception immediately to follow the service.
He will be forever loved and sorely missed by his family and friends.
