I have been trying to find my friend for so many years. We were best friends through high school, then we lost track of each other. My heart is broken to finally find a link to her and only to find out that she has passed away. We kept in touch for a few yrs after we were both married but then lost communication. She was so special to me and I am so sad. To Johnny; You probably don't remember me. My name was Irene Verfaillie. We double dated a couple of times. Shirley was head over heals in love with you. I married and moved to the US and we lost touch. How I would have loved the chance to reconnect with her. I am so sorry for your loss. I still have pictures of your kids when they were very little. Look so much like her. I am grateful to have had her as my bestest friend in high school. Hope you are doing well and enjoying your beautiful children.
