Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • I am so fortunate to have been Cindy’s friend for all of the almost 20 years, through the fun, good times and the sad times. I am so glad that I could be there for her during those times, like she was there for me when I needed a friend’s support. I am so going to miss Cindy, she was a great emotional support to me throughout these years, she was one of my closest friends. Her one great joy in her life was her granddaughter Shiloh.. who filled Cindy's heart... I am so happy she experienced that joy in her life! I will dearly miss our conversations, her humour, her insight, and her friendship. Rest in Peace Cindy. My condolences to all the family members. - Posted by: Deb Walker (Close Friend) on: Aug 26, 2019

  • Cindy, my dearest friend, I can’t believe that you're gone! How do I say goodbye? The memories we shared will forever be in my heart. You were there for me during my darkest time in my life, I’m forever grateful for that and I promised you that I would be there for you in your times of need. My condolences to your family. You sure loved your family so very much, they meant the world to you. All the stories of the years growing up. Christmas was your favorite for sure. I will cherish the good times we had through life, the best by far was when we were roommates! Those where the good old days just having fun and living life to the fullest! As the years past our friendship and families grew. I think the greatest joy in the past year and a half was being “nana”. The brightest light in your beautiful blue eyes was little Shiloh. She for sure had captured your heart. You will be greatly missed, not sure what to do without you sweet lady. My life will never be the same without you. It is time to Rest In Peace and be with loved ones who are on the same journey. Until we meet again. All my love, Brenda - Posted by: Brenda Medlicott (My best friend) on: Aug 22, 2019

  • I met Cindy at school we were 13 years of age she's been a friend ever since. She's been a friend to my younger sister Toby and later in life a great friend to an older sister Terry. Cindy has been here in my family through all the happy celebrations and the bad. A few memories I'd like to share was when we would hang out in her basement playing records, we would sing and dance pretend we were Diana Ross and the Supremes and of course Cindy would always have to be the lead singer. We had so much fun hanging out at the Luton C.C and so many good times. As we got older we still hang out together going out dancing and just having fun. Cindy has always been there for me. She's always been a part of the Tanner family. Cindy gave a awesome speach at my wedding and I couldn't thank her enough. I know it's very hard missing the one you gave your heart to and I strongly believe you are dancing singing and is very happy now. I'd like to give my deepest sympathy to all the family and friends. Cindy will be missed. Always remembered. Keep dancing Cindy Heaven has a great friend . - Posted by: Tammy Ambrenac (Friend) on: Aug 21, 2019

  • What do you say about a friend of 50 years? I met Cindy when she was 10 and I was 12. Even though a difference of 2 years seemed a lot at the time, I was in high school and she was finishing elementary, we just clicked. Through the years our lives went in different directions but we remained friends throughout it all. I never thought I would be saying goodbye so soon. Too soon. I always told my daughter "You need to find your Cindy, that friend that will be there for you through thick n thin, good times and bad." I've lost my Cindy. Guess I'll see you on the other side, I love you. - Posted by: Catherine Blyth (Wolfe) (Friend) on: Aug 21, 2019

  • I have known Cindy all my life. I cant remember family Christmas parties and weekends at the lake. she was the little sister that was always following Donna and I around wanting to know what we where doing. Cindy had a great smile and confection laugh. She was a joy to have around. She will truly be missed. Her journey here may have been ended, but your adventure lives on, I know she is in the arms of her mom and gramma. - Posted by: Dale Bruzell (Slobodian) (Cousin ) on: Aug 21, 2019

  • I met Cindy through Sherri, her now deceased wife. I will always remember Cindy’s sense of humour and general demeanour. She was nice, she was loving, she was kind. I admired her commitment to being Katrina’s mother, first co-parenting with Sherri, and then taking care of Katrina on her own. RIP Cindy. Dance amongst the clouds. - Posted by: Jil Brody (Friend) on: Aug 19, 2019

  • We are sending our condolences to all of you. We knew Cindy through Terry Haines who is my sister-in-law and Randy's sister. I saw Cindy not to long ago in Sobeys in Westwood. She was with her stepdaughter and her baby. Such a shock to hear of Cindy's passing. She was such a friendly happy person. Our thoughts are with you at this time. - Posted by: Barbara and Randy Tanner (Friends) on: Aug 17, 2019
