RICHARD LAURENCE PERRAULT

It is with deep sadness that the family of Richard Perrault announces his passing on August 23, 2019 at Riverview Hospital at the age of 53 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Denise (née Lamirande) and Bert Perrault, and his brothers, Dennis and Léo.
Richard will be dearly missed by his
sisters; Dianne, Sharon (Rob) Uskalo, his
nieces; Rayette (Ward) Giles and Anoka
Salisbury; Cheryl Vieville and her family, as well as numerous friends and work
colleagues.
Richard was an avid reader and an
academic. He prided himself on being a
University of Manitoba graduate and held a Master's degree in city planning. He loved to tease and joke with others. He enjoyed
listening to blues music as well as attending concerts.
He worked as a research consultant for the Province of Manitoba within the Indigenous Inclusion Directorate.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at CancerCare Manitoba and Riverview Hospital for their care and compassion that Richard spoke fondly of.
Richard, God loves you, He created you, He has put His arms around you and you feel embraced. May we share your joy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Desjardins Funeral Home, Friday, August 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
