So many wonderful memories of Aunty Irene! She was a wonderful cook and hostess. A beautiful woman who was generous, witty and WOW could she sing and dance. Blessed to have had you as my Aunt. Our sincere sympathies to all the family. Love Wendy Thurston-Werry & Bill Werry - Posted by: Wendy Thurston-Werry & Bill Werry (niece) on: Sep 03, 2019
My heart aches for all who loved my sweet Auntie Irene, especially Cyd, Nancy, Craig, Donna, Brent. Thoughts, and prayers of comfort and healing are being sent to all of you. Your MOM was such a class act, and that wonderful laugh will echo in our hearts forever. I can picture her singing, and cooking up a storm on Lyndale. I still peel my garlic the way she taught me, way back in 1981 when I enjoyed a feast at your home. I had just started my first professional sales job at Canadian Rubber Stamp. Uncle Tod could dance up a storm like Fred Astaire, or drum up sales like no one else. Please take good care of each other during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at the time. Irene was a special lady and we had many good times together. She was always ready to extend a helping hand. A beautiful lady. We had many a laugh together! - Posted by: Gladys Oelkers (Former Sister-in-law) on: Aug 31, 2019
