I worked with Garry for many years both at a&b sound and Best Buy (ReClaim). Garry was a fantastic guy, great teammate, super knowledgeable and hard worker. Garry had a great sense of humor and enjoyed putting a smile on peoples faces. Garry will be missed by many. Deepest condolences to all of Garry's loved ones. - Posted by: Vic Hender (Friend) on: Oct 08, 2019

I meet Garry when I worked at the Sony Stores in Winnipeg. He was the store manager and he took me under his wings. His knowledge in audio/visual was incredible, which he passed onto me. I soon became his assistant manger, eventually becoming a store manager. I will always remember his smile and infectious laughs. When he moved to Kelowna, I'd always hoped that we would cross paths again, unfortunately we never did. Fortunately, I had the pleasure to work and befriend a good man. Condolences to the family, rest in peace Garry. - Posted by: Ron Ritchot (co-worker / friend) on: Sep 03, 2019

I first met Garry in high school. He became the drummer in our band that Bob Millar and I formed. He was a very friendly and happy guy. As we had no singer, Garry surprised us by singing lead on several songs while still drumming. He was also a great artist. He showed me a piece of art that he had done and I suggested he submit it for year book publication which he did and it was accepted. I still have that year book. Unfortunately, we parted ways after high school and I never saw Garry afterward. As soon as I saw his picture in the paper I recognized that smile right away. My sincerest condolences to Garry’s family. RIP old friend. - Posted by: Brian Fraser (High School friend and band mate) on: Aug 31, 2019
