My tribute is simple, I knew Gerry when he was in hospital and walked a short while with him and Linda. Gerry was constant, solid, gently strong in Linda's life. Many of us as her knew Gerry was there, and many of us often wondered how they worked so well together to be there for each other. Gerry was broken hearted when Linda died. He is a good man! Be proud of him. - Posted by: Karen E. Toole (Aquaintance) on: Sep 27, 2019

I became friends with Gerry in the late 1970s through his wife Linda and was a neighbour of Linda and Gerry in the 1980s. As mentioned in his obituary Gerry was a terrific cook, excellent host and photographer. He also was a devoted husband to Linda, whose death in January of 2018 must have been very difficult for him. Since I moved out to the West Coast twenty years ago we hadn't see each other for a long time, but I have many fond memories of the countless good times I spent with Gerry. I'm extremely sorry to hear of his death and send my condolences to those who mourn his passing. - Posted by: Janet Silman (friend) on: Sep 08, 2019
