I was sad to hear of David's passing. When he lived in Fort Garry on Edderton Ave. I remember he was our first babysitter when we moved next door. He was 14 at the time and there were 3 of us that he had to babysit. We wore him out having him give us piggyback rides up and down the stairs. He was a good sport about it but I don't recall if he ever babysat us again!! I have fond memories of him throughout my teen years, too. Like the time our record player was playing next to his bedroom window and I played the same song over and over until I heard his voice yelling "for God's sake...could you play a different song" He sure had patience because he had to put up with a lot from his noisy neighbours!! David was always kind and polite to us. I remember seeing him about 20 years ago and he was still very kind. We had a great chat reminiscing about our families. Rest in peace David! - Posted by: Donna Ellaschuk (nee Sealey) (Previous neighbour) on: Sep 10, 2019
